"MAKING OUR THIRD ACTS THE BEST YET"

SWEETENERS: WHAT TO USE AND WHAT NOT TO USE

In the first strand of The HOPE Protocol, we optimize our hormones. In the second strand, we optimize our weight. In the third strand, The Purification Strand, we optimize health. In the fourth strand, we optimize our minds.

We begin optimizing our health by optimizing our livers.

Nearly all overweight menopausal women and andropausal men have fatty livers. We must de-fat it if we want to dance at our grandchildren's weddings.

Fatty livers cause us to burn fat slower and prevent our cells from receiving the messages our hormones are trying to convey. And remember, it's all about our hormones.

CELLULAR HORMONAL RESISTANCE

“Malfunctioning fatty livers are the primary source cause of Cellular Hormonal Resistance.”

Insulin resistance is an excellent example of Cellular Hormone Resistance.

Modern-day diabetes is caused by insulin resistance, the cell's inability to receive insulin's message.

When blood sugar spikes, insulin is released to open the entrance doors to our cells. This way, the blood sugar can be cleared from our blood because high blood sugar is toxic to our brains, livers, hearts, and kidneys. The high blood sugar will crème brûlée these organs, literally.

When the entrance doors to our cells remain closed, despite insulin telling the cells to open their doors, blood sugar levels elevate. The pancreas is still receiving the signal from the brain that blood sugar is high, and it continues to release more and more insulin.

When this happens, you end up with elevated levels of blood sugar and insulin, and if this becomes chronic, you eventually become diabetic.

DIABESITY

“The primary cause of diabesity (diabetes and obesity) is insulin resistance.”
“The best way to eliminate insulin resistance is to de-fat our fatty livers.”
“The best way to de-fat our livers is to lose weight.”
"Our research has shown that modest weight reduction due to caloric restriction to about 1,200 calories a day leads to a reduction of liver fat and reversal of liver insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. You don't have to get down to the weight you were in high school—a 10% weight reduction can make a big difference."

Most of you know it is nearly impossible to lose weight once you are paused.

To lose weight once you are paused, consume a menu that bottoms out insulin and tops out glucagon.

The Meso-Menu is a menu that requires you to eat low-glycemic-load foods to bottom out insulin. There are only two actions you can take to top out glucagon:

  1. Bottom-out insulin
  2. Animal Protein

Insulin opens the entrance doors to your cells, allowing blood sugar to pass into them. The cell turns most of the sugar into fat and stores it in our fat pantries: belly, breasts, and hips.

Glucagon releases the stored fat from these pantries to be used as fuel.

Diabesisty is a combination of several conditions.

  • Elevated blood sugar
  • Elevated insulin
  • Elevated inflammation.
  • Elevated fatty liver disease.
  • Elevated hormonal resistance.

CHRONIC INFLAMMATION

“Chronic inflammation is the primary source cause of our deaths.”

Chronic inflammation causes.

  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Heart Disease
  • Strokes
  • Alzheimer’s
“Excess weight, especially belly fat, represents how chronically inflamed we are.”

Most chronic systemic inflammation is caused by consuming pro-inflammatory foods.

“Pro-inflammatory foods cause weight gain by disrupting our metabolism and hormones.”

Avoiding pro-inflammatory foods decreases chronic inflammation dramatically, and our internal chemistry becomes more harmonized.

The food group that causes more chronic inflammation than any other is sweeteners.

Due to email providers limiting the number of words in an email, we have made a PDF of what sweeteners to avoid and what sweeteners to use.

And remember,

IT'S ALL ABOUT OUR HORMONES!

"We are nothing more than reflections of our hormones."

Hormone and Weight Optimization Coach

Hi! I'm Doc Mac.

I have practiced hormone, weight, health, and mind optimization for over forty-three years. As we age and or become chronically inflamed, our hormones become disrupted, making us feel out of sync, overweight, sickly, and negative. Our internal chemistry, our hormones, governs the way we feel and look. Subscribe to my weekly newsletter on how to optimize our lives by optimizing our hormones.
